PRIMARY PROPGRAM

After kindergarten program, it is significant to consider incepting a new learning environment for students as their age develops. Young students are believed to learn enormously fast from the surrounding environment they are exposed to, thus enabling them to acquire language, culture, knowledge, life skills, communication skills, problem-solving skills, and critical thinking skills quickly. To obtain these, students must be taught the literacy skill, which is the center of the Primary Program.

Literacy skill is the capacity to read and write. Once this skill is developed, students will be able to learn other skills faster. It is one of the most important parts of education because, without it, children find it hard to acquire knowledge. Therefore, the primary program curriculum will be built around the context of literacy development along with the integration of 21st century skills: (1) Collaboration, (2) Communication, (3) Critical thinking, and (4) Creativity.

The primary program curriculum comprises six levels ranging from level 1 to level 6. Each level contains 3 terms, and each term lasts for 3 months, which make up of 11 weeks. It offers both full time and part time classes. Full time class starts from 7:30 am -10:30 am for morning shift and 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm for afternoon shift. Two different schedules are offered for part time classes: (1) 5:30pm -7:00pm, and (2) 5:30pm – 6:30 pm. The program is held from Monday to Friday. The curriculum also offers extracurricular activities and foreigner sessions.
